What's the difference between MacAce broadband and other ISP's?

1. Our ADSL speeds are amongst the best in the industry
We don't over-contend our resources - that means we don't cram 10,000 users into space designed for 2,500 - like the cheap ISPs do. Our entire network operates well below 90% capacity 99% of the time.

2. ADSL2+ technology from your BT line
Unlike many other ISP's, our 24Mbps broadband does not require your line to be phsycally disconected from BT's core network at your exchange onto their own. This means you won;t be tied to them for your phone and broadband and have to pay up to £125 to be connected back should you decide to choose another voice or broadband provider in the future. They may offer incredibley tempting offers, but a £125 bill will soon negate the introductory offers!

3. Our network is darn fast
You'd be unlikely to get a faster connection with anyone else, we make sure of it. It's not just your connection speed that's important. Fast mail and DNS servers can vastly speed up and improve your internet experience, as well as top-notch links to the US, Europe and the rest of the World. We'll do everything we can to ensure your connection is as fast as possible too, in terms of your home setup.

4. Support is a major priority
We believe in high quality, personal and friendly support. You'll know us by name and we won't treat you like a number or email address. No long queues, no call centres. We eat, sleep and breath Macs. We evolved from an Apple reseller and service centre. The support you get is from the same people that build and maintain our entire network - us.

5. Fair with our download limits
There has to be limits, we all know that, but it's how they are implemented. We believe in being fair. All of our packages have a bufferzone so that you don;t get charged extra for going a bit over. We also don't include your usage off-peak (12-6am) as that's when our network is least busy.

6. Uptime guarantee
We're the only ISP that we know of that put's it's customers first by guranteeing the best possible service or your money back. If your broadband is down, we promise to try to get it fixed within 2 hours, or sooner.

7. We're established
We've been around for years, since 1996 as an ISP. We're a self-funded, profitable and stable company.

8. We offer a range of complimentary services
Hosting, ecommerce, domain names and everything else you'd expect from an ISP and more. We won't hard sell anything to you - our services are there and our advise on the best for you is always free and fair.

9. We're not just another reseller
The vast majority of ISP's out there don't have there own networks or servers at all - they resell someone else's service. That means they have no control or passion for getting things done properly.

10. No foreign call centres or premium rates
Nor do we keep you on hold for ten minutes so we can rack up an extra tenner (not mentioning any names). Our lines are 0845 - we even give you our geographical numbers so you can include your calls to us in your included minutes on anytime, eve/weekend plans. Geographical numbers are often cheaper than local rate.
