High Speed FTTC (fibre-to-the-cabinet)
FTTC replaces much of the copper cable - the speed limiting factor - between your house and exchange. By using fibre-optic cable to your street cabinet, the length of the copper cable is significantly reduced from up to 4km to a few hundred metres at most. This means faster speeds are possible. Your FTTC connection traverses BT’s latest 21CN network into our brand new, custom designed, super-fast Fibre Broadband network - giving you a true super-highway to the internet.

Resilience built-in
The backbone of our UK broadband infrastructure is based around 20 cities, or nodes. Your exchange connects to this which in turn connects to us. This web of nodes has no single point of failure - if one goes down, data is re-routed over alternative paths. In a nutshell this means far fewer outages and downtime for your broadband connection.

Upgrading to Fibre is simple with MacAce.net - we handle everything. An engineer will install the vDSL box, and ethernet cabling you need and connect up to your WAN router. If you already have a suitable router, we'll talk you through settings over the phone, or we can supply a new wired or WiFi router for you, pre-configured and ready to plug in and go. Routers provided by us also come with our next-day replacement warranty - to ensure you are back online as soon as possible, and without any hassle.
